Karel Kosik in Mexico: Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez and the Dialectics of the Concrete

 In 1963, Karel Kosik participated in the XIII International Congress of Philosophy in Mexico , where he presented ” Wer ist der Mensch ?”. Which is focuses on expose some fundamental ideas of his book Dialectics of the Concrete: “It was enough this informal knowledge of the substance of his book and the exchange of ideas that led between us, to recommend with great interest  at the publishing houses Grijalbo his publication in Spanish… We were, indeed, at one of the most enticing and attractive richest works thought we knew in Marxist literature “. In this way Adolfo Sánchez Vázquez expressed itself of Karel Kosik in the Preface of the Dialectics of the Concrete in his spanish version, translated of the italian by the spanish marxist philosopher and author of the important book Philosophy of Praxis. With this translation Kosik has been made known  to Latin America. The aim of this paper is to present the impact of Kosik in spanish due to the interest of Adolofo Sánchez Vázquez.
